Default RE: SVO intercooler

On the SVO it mounts over top of the turbo slightly offset to the passenger side of the car. That's what the scoop was for, to feed the intercooler fresh air. It is a neat and compact position, but the heat soak from the turbo gets it hot pretty quick and then it isn't accomplishing too much. That's why most end up switching to a front mount setup.

The V-shaped thingy directly below the intercooler is a bracket to help support it, and it is the only thing that bolts on. It isn't necessary though, neither of my SVO's has it on there and I haven't had any trouble. It is held on by the thick rubber connectors and clamps.
