wanting to drop a 03 cobra engine in my 78 - 4/23/2007 10:29:48 PM    jzzn1669   Posts: 9 Joined: 4/23/2007 Status: offline he guys, this is my first post on this site and i was wondering if i could get some help from anybody that might have some knowledge on this, i want to put a 03 cobra motor in my 78 coupe and was wanting to know what i might need to modify thanks _____________________________ and thats a wrap!!! RE: wanting to drop a 03 cobra engine in my 78 - 4/24/2007 9:25:57 PM    jzzn1669   Posts: 9 Joined: 4/23/2007 Status: offline ill take some pics  she looks like crap, i got it when i was 16 for $400 (that was in 98) with the 2300 4 bannger and a c3 tranny in it. i was thinking of rebuilding the 2.3 and putting a c4 behind it and just rebuilding the rear end on the 03 cobra that i got last year out of a junkyard for 1600 and still running and driveable just looks like it got into a fight with a diesel and lost. right now the coupe has no fenders, front clip, bumpers or hood. i wanna fiberglass it all and i found that hairy glass guy on mustangii.net and can get it all for about 2grand. the 78 needs alot of love i left it sitting for about 4 years while i was back and forth from iraq/afganistan. now that im home its my main goal. return the II to glory!!! _____________________________ and thats a wrap!!!
