i can't believe that i overlooked the plug wires got new motorsports and my car runs great.  was ready to pull my hair out for a moment there.

anyway I read an article on a SHO website about plug wires and how they should form a seal on the top of the hole the plug sits in.  anyway my main point is moisture does enter these orifices and they WILL cause much corrosion which was the case with my stang.   one plug wire was corroded all to hell and had a resistance of 218k ohms I overlooked this when i started troubleshooting.  my car ran horribly. it sounded as though a cylinder was not firing and felt like it too.   enough gunk down there and it will destroy your plug and wires to conduct properly also, check your wire resistance when the engine is hot and cold.  reason being the heat will cause your wires to have more dielectric properties if they are old and have had alot of current passed through them.

and never pull yer plug wires from the wire only the BOOT!     this is such a basic thing and so basic that many of us assume they are fine like i did and that in fact was the root of the problem.
