i was actually thinking of doing the reverse of what you're talking about, paint the rim, and leave the spinner chrome. like this picture.

ya. we've got the same rims. idk about the whole black rim, chrome spinner on the 16's. but i batted it in my head a few times, imagining what it might look like, but idk. i more than likely won't do it,really like the way these rims look. i suppose down the line, i might do it.
the black chrome spinner cap isn't a bad idea. w/ the spokes black and the center the same.i wonder how it'd look though.

What center caps do you have on your spinners? If they are tri bar Mustang and you paint the spinners, youwill probablyhave atough timeselling them when you get your new wheels (if you think you will sell the wheels and spinners afterwards - if you are going to keep them for some reason, then paint away).
you know what i was thinkin? i have the same rims as you. and say u did paint dem spinnas' black. if you painted part of the rim black too it would look half bad. not the top part of the spokes but the angles part. it might look kinda tight. once i get new rims im for sure gonna f.u.c.k with the old 16's.
