I just put the Ford Racing Side Window Louvers on this weekend. They go on with the strongest double sided tape I have ever used; sticks like whale snot mixed with crazy glue!
My question is regarding everyone's experience with hi-pressure, touchless car washes with stick-on louvers. Based on how well these things stick, I don't think it is a problem but wanted to be safe and see.
Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do........I've had mine washed numerous times in the car wash, no problems whatsoever with the louvers. Go for it!

The shop that I work atinstalled a touchless systemover the winter. The only contact is with the wheels that haverotating scrub brushes. It won't clean a filthy car but will clean a semi-dirty car. I take my car through, co-worker takes his SRT-8 Charger through, owner takes his Z06 through it, buddy takes his S65, etc.....no issues thus far.
For those times when I don't have the time or energy to go all out, it works beautifully!
At my dealership we send cars through all the time with louvers on them, not a problem yet. Also its not a touch-free one, dont be all scared of the ones with brushes, this isnt the 80's anymore. I send mine through probably 2-3 times a week and never had a problem. Ive been there about a year, seen 200-250 cars go through a day, and still yet to see anything happen. You will be perfectly fine with your louvers.

Fletch,
Got mine from DG also, and installed this past Saturday. The narrow end ( back of louver) does not have 3M tape attached. Water would drain from this area .
PS: Great quality for the price . Perfect paint match .
