Does anyone know if i could use the extra (by extra i mean that i have nothing hooked up to them from the factory)  buttons above the radio for some add ons to my car.  For example, i put the sub that i had in my previous car in my mustang, however when it was in my previous car i cut the dash and mounted a switch to turn off the subs when a cop was around, as their pretty strict in my historic neighborhood about the sound decibil laws.  Now i did a decent job cutting and mounting the button to the dash in the old car, but it was a car that if i messed up, oh well, i was saving for a mustang anyway, now that i have the mustang i cant bring myself to cut the dash.  However, if i could jus mount the on off switch for my subs to my "extra" buttons above my radio, everything would work out for the best.  Does anyone know if this is possible?  Also if it is possible, anyone know where or how i could get these buttons labeled, either by taking them somewhere to have them labeled or by buying a new one as a replacement? Thanks in advance for all the info, everyone on here is extramely helpful, and nice about it, especially since my questions sometimes seem to me to be quite dumb.

yah i used that empty spot above the radio for some switches that go to the neons in my trunk. Its a simple part to replace if need be cause you can just pull it out or whatever. I say go for it!
