just wondering what the dyno proven rwhp is of a stock 03-04.  we hear alot of BS around here about how much underrated they are.  i know they are some, and they have to make better than 390 to hit the mid 12s with IRS like they do.  anyone got a sheet for a bone stock cobra?

from Wikipedia ................

Debuting in early 2002, the 2003 Cobra came with a supercharged 4.6 L DOHC engine rated at 390 hp (291 kW) and 390 ft·lbf (529 N·m) of torque. It was later learned that SVT (Special Vehicle Team) had underrated the Cobra, as many owners have reported 430 hp (321 kW) and 430 ft·lbf (583 N·m) of torque.

430hp would make about 360rwhp.

420-430hp is also what Saleen advertises as horse power on their
new S281 w/ SC.
Basically same thing as 04 Cobra

They vary quite a bit - a lot of Terminators with low mileage (under 10k) tend to dyno on the lower side of 370rwhp. Stock but 10k+ mile 03/04's have loosened up a good amount and many have seen 380rwhp+ stock.

Yes way.............

My 465hp 351W ( verfied on engine dyno and have chart to prove it )
made 370rwhp on dyno jet

You lose a good bit of power thru the drive train. 18% loss is correct.

My 03 Cobra dynoed yesterday at 390 rwhp.  It has approx. 17000 miles.  Bone stock--including air filter................I just brought the car to Stang-Hi in Baton Rouge, La., and I'm getting a ported Stage IV (Steigmeier) eaton put on with a 2.93 pully and a 2 lb. lower pully.  I'm also getting a JLT straight shot air, new magnaflow catted x pipe, and magnaflow cat-back installed.  I will get it dynoed and tuned with a SCT tuner.  I'm also getting a fresh oil change with royal purple, a new clutch quadrant cable and bracket, new flundyne heat exchanger, left head cooling mod done, new lower conrol arms, boost overlay gauge, new plugs, pully tensioners, and with all this, I hope to make the 500 rwhp club,  Wish me luck.......................I'll list the dyno numbers in a week or so, when he's finished.................
