Default Coilovers

If I were to put coilovers on my stang, how does that work? do you take off the springs and the shocks/struts, and just bolt them in place of the shocks/struts, or is there more that goes into it?

Default RE: Coilovers

They generally slide over the strut. If you use them you WILL NEED a strut tower brace, as you have transfered all the load that used to be supported by the k-member to the strut towers.
