alright so I have a black 05' mustang and it has a white detailing strip at the bottom of it that says mustang in black. so im for sure getting underglow on it b.c im putting it in showcases around my city. but all i would like to know is what color underglow would look good with a black mustang. i was thinking maybe red or green. a lot of my friends have said green but im still not sure. what do u think about the COLOR?

People generally do these things...

Their favorite color...
The same color as other accents on/in their car, say you have red trim on your seats and elsewhere inside, do red. Or add interior lighting to tie it all in together...
Or what I would do, white. It goes with almost any car, and I have also found out it's not "quite so ricer-ish" to alot of people. Bright funky colors are what alot of people consider to be stupid.

thanks. but white jst seems to plain. jst like putting a light bulb under your car. then all i have is that white strip at the bottom and no colors on the inside except most of my stereo lights are green. so really its hard to choose because i think red looks good but might be alittle to dark and so green will stand out more.

White would look great with the white stripe on the bottom of your car. Green would be uber ricer.

I went with the LED underglow kit that allows you to change thru all the colors or a mix. you can make them go in different patterns or change directions or with music.
limited use though.    people seem to like them.
I think running the red would be great with the black car but LEDs are no where near as bright as neons.

My mustang sits so low you do not get a big a$$ effect.

i would change the stripe to red on your black mustang and then get a red underglow... otherwise if you have the white stripe i would do white

I have the same question only an 06 yellow mustang with a black strip, I really like blue neons, but i was thinkin red might look better on the yellow. or should i just do the yellow on yellow?

white, or red. dont do green or anything too bright. blue maybe if your cars black, but not crazy bright... neons are very ricerish, and look stupid if theyre not done right or chosen carefully.

I was thinking about doing underglow and if i wasgoing to (which i decided against) i would have done white.  i'd also say lose the sidestripe if you go with a color.

show cars can be showy without being **SHOWY!!!** being subtle is way more cool than trying to be brighter and have more gizmo's than everyone else. sometimes things get too cluttered and can make what would have been a cool car and turned it into a ricemobile. having too much chrome is one of those fallacies. a chrom grille is nice with chrome wheels, but when ou get every piece of the car's body that isnt painted chromed it looks like ****. having a bodykit with a million different bodylines is another. keep it simple, but different is the key i believe...

the closest I have come is I have thought about putting leds in the vents in the hood, as well as in front of the the vents in front of the back tires in my 94 gt, but then I remembered I was over  over 20, well over 20.....

I might end up stickin my foot in my mouth....  I have had a side-exhaust kit for my 94 gt that I have been dreamin of installing for some time now but needed to replace the side skirts, and have them painted.  I found some good replacements on ebay and I am going to try and trade some stereo work to get them painted and installed.  I have been trying to wiegh the rice/cool factor for lights as I think it would look perty cool to have the lights reflecting off the tips I polished.
