If you have someone put them on you are looking at an hour of labor. Depending on where you go $65 to $90 an hour.

there are no special tools...i do the swap myself in 45 minutes.  It gets too loud for everyday driving so I swap them back and forth when I feel like hearing it.

All you really need is a 15mm wrench for the manifold nuts and a basic socket set.

Most all shops won't install any O/R pipes.  If it involves dropping the cats, they won't touch it.

All you need is a socket set, a couple of extensions, and a universal joint (swivel).  That, a little patience, and some PB Blaster (or similar) is all you need.  I didn't even jack the rear end up to put my on last weekend.

You'll need to jack up at least the front end.  Go buy a set of jack stands and use the crappy jack that comes with your car.  May take a while to jack it up, but if you don't want to buy a jack, that'll work.

sry for all the questioning, but im supposed to be saving some money, which I am, but i shimmied the few bucks away and dont want the gf to find out, at least until its too late...

Are there any performance gains from this mod? Or is it done mainly for sound?

Also, anyone have this setup with SLP LM's?

Good for around 10 rwhp.

O/R-H with SLP LM's are crazy loud.  I think there's a soundclip on Brenspeed's website.

That should work.  It just makes it easier to access those manifold nuts.

i got these 'pypes' mated up to MBRP loudmouth. i say DO IT! its a good loud, people will love you for it, lol. no seriously, you will get noticed. i hear people mumble "...mustang..." when i drive by, and occasionally i'll get a "your car sounds aggressive, i love it" or "do a burn out." this week i got multiple warnings on a trip to orlando, but only cuz i got on it right in front of a cop =) secretly, he must have liked it because he said to me "gotta make noise in front of all the girls huh?"

i feel a difference in power, but maybe it's just all the noise adding to the effect. i think the 10 rwhp might increase slightly with other mods as well. i think that number was determined off a stock gt.

anyone's setup rattle after install? i tightened everything down to make sure, but i still got some rattle at high speeds. the rattle seems to have pretty much gone away, unless i hit a small bump at high speed, then i hear it again.

dont forget to tune, or get MIL eliminators!

I just installed the o/r h-pipe today and it sounds AWESOME!! I love it!!

But ....

I have a rattling noise when I step on it!! What could be the problem? Where should I look first?
or is it just a normal noise that I'll have to live with?

And .. How did you adjust the Stingers to be aligned perfectly? Mine is sitting a bit low.
