got a digital multimeter today and was testing sensors and stuff and decided what the hell i should probably check my spark plug wires come to find out most of them are corroded on the plug mating end and low and behold the 4th cylinder plug wire when the engine is running and hot had a whopping resistance of 218k ohms!!!!!   thats 218,000 when the norm is 7k per foot of wire and on this aprox 3ft. long plug wire it should have been 21k or below damn guess that goes to show that you shouldnt overlook the simple things eh?  these are stock wires too i should have replaced them a long time ago

as the wire cooled the resistance dropped however it should remain steady regardless of temperature or should have minimal resistance fluxuation    yes? not to mention the plug mating end of the 4th wire was extremely corroded had to scrape a bit to get a reading time for new wires

anyone have any opinions on spark plug wires?  or brand? lol i have never replaced them on any of my vehicles i dunno.

A lot of builders and pros use the Ford Motorsport wires, inexpensive, have the cylinder numbers on them and they last very well,I've got them on my car and I'm very happy with them, been on for almost 10 years.

You could do that, or just spring for some MSD wires.
