I agree as well, certain people like that really make mustang owners look stupid....I hear people say that every single time an import or even a 4 cyl or 6 cyl can equal or beat a v-8....Some people are still stuck in the 70's.....The times have changed and i think some people should get with them....

ok one thing this is a MUSTANG FORUM... i come on here to see mustangs and talk to people that have them.. i dont come on here to read about the crap that you call a honda..and 2000si my car weighs in at about 2900 so your 2 ton crap doesn't work here.. and you are calling steel a death trap??? do you know what your precious little import is made of??? geezzz... oh and by the way i have a small block.. i dont have respect for someone that comes onto a mustang forum and tries to make imports look like they are some type of god... find your self a civic forum or something.. and i have read a lot about the crap you say to people in your other posts and i finally got a little peeved... and again your on a mustang forum..

Did you bother to read the title of the thread? This was for me about my car and it's potential. This thread has NOTHING to do with Mustangs of any form. If you didn't want to watch something about an import, why did you even bother clicking on the thread? About his sign, he has been working on the car for about a year now, and is no where near done, so it is just the beginning, and like he stated, this is a forum, and he can speak his mind all day long, as you may too.

I agree. Cut the V8 vs import **** out.
Yeah couple of "gansta thugs" from the local highschool running around in their 83 accord with a fart pipe and a 20 foot wing are one thing (and fun to pick on) but a car like this is absolutly no joke.
I dont think there is a car on the forum that would hang with a gutted out 5xx HP civic. Espcially not your 15.26 @ 91.5 mustang.

might not be the big sum of 40 years but I know of a few people with mid 80s Civic Hatchbacks on the stock engines. Kinda funny. You're trying to argue reliability here with me when I know you've had problems with your stang there... whether you'll admit it or not it doesn't matter.
Give it a rest already, your friend has a very skewed view of automobiles and since he took it upon himself to argue a point of which he says he doesn't care, I just had to take him to school and learn him a few new things. I apologize if not being ignorant bothers him.
1980's? Big deal, there are plenty of 80's Stangs around with all stock equipment, as for that comment, he has a stock 83 engine in his 67 mustang now.
It's not so much that you had to take him to school, it is just the fact that people get so hurt over people saying things about their cars.
Right a 500+ HP civic is impressive, but there are many civics that I see at the track sometimes making over 900 HP, guess what they run? A lucky 11 sometimes, and that's with about 40" slicks. That is not impressive.

I'm not hurt by what he said, I just don't like people spreading retarded ignorance through a post because they don't like Imports. The funny thing is I sit on two honda boards and defend mustangs just as much.
A civic with 900 hp? Ok... comon... did the owners tell you that? lol and you believed them? I've never seen a Civic, even with an H22 in it run 900 horses.
The fastest Civic that I can recall is in the upper 9s, and it's far from street legal.
I wasn't implying that you were hurt personally, I just mean that that is the biggest problem with people on these forums.
Yes it was a Twin Turbo hatchback, 908 HP or something. It was a race team, not sure of their name, it didn't run 9's thats for damn sure. There were two of them.. One had something like 760HP the other was just creeping over 900 so they said. Who know's...

they need to invest into a better suspension setup. You made it sound like it was some people with a street driven civic making 900 horsepower. but that isn't the case.

The entire point is that this guy and alot of other people are walking (and talking) around like they are billy badass just because they have a mustang and it happens to have a V8 in it.
Before I started talking **** like that (well ok I never would talk **** like that) I would own a car that is capable of running faster than a stock accord
What really gets me is he is trying to tell si what kinda forum it is and what people want to hear, and hes got what, a couple hundred posts? To si's current 3088?

come on man.. i haven't posted much but i have been here a long time. I know that in the video forum almost half of the video's posted are non-mustang video's. Yet they dont seem to get flammed on if its a Domestic v8. But god forbid a honda civic video is posted.. you attack it like a hawk.. u dont care to look past that make of the car and see what these people have accomplished, yes it has some disadvantages like being FWD and lower TQ numbers but d@mn 500hp from a motor the size of a 2L bottle? thats impressive. You see the big H and think of it as a bulls eye. Ive yet to see ur 5L v8 step up. last time I checked under the VIDEO forum tab it said "This forum is for video's pertaining to Racing (Street/Strip), Interviews, Mustangs, and Off Topic." off topic being anything other then the listed? hrm.
