Teksid aluminum blocks to my knowledge were in the following:
96-99 cobras
96-98 Lincoln Mark VIII
Lincoln aviator?
Lincoln continental?

These blocks are supposed to be a tad lighter and stronger, able to withstand 900hp. I believe they are of German origin.  As far as I know the S197's GTs are running aluminum Windsor blocks, good to maybe 700hp. Its just the rotating assembly that throws the towel in at about 450-500hp

teksid block have a square crosshatching cast in the valley pan (lifter valley).  where as the newer block have a diamond crosshatching (angled).  i think they are a fewer other hints but that is the main one.

I think they were cast in Italy at Teksid's Crescentino Plant.
