RE: Teksid Block - 4/13/2007 5:43:45 AM    Timmay!!!   Posts: 1541 Joined: 4/9/2006 Status: offline Teksid aluminum blocks to my knowledge were in the following: 96-99 cobras 96-98 Lincoln Mark VIII Lincoln aviator? Lincoln continental? These blocks are supposed to be a tad lighter and stronger, able to withstand 900hp. I believe they are of German origin.  As far as I know the S197's GTs are running aluminum Windsor blocks, good to maybe 700hp.
