Still looks way too heavy and the fake grill mesh has got to go.  Put the mustang on a diet already and add some more agressive styling

I don't like it.  I don't like the front fascia.  The grill looks more squished like what the new Camaros are determined to look like.

Thats not the "new car" thats the 2009 "freshening". They are just changing the nose (Lower with GT500 design cues), maybe the tail, and if we get lucky the engine (5.0L). The new car isnt due until 2011 or 2012.

I would have to say it looks a whole lot better, but Im not much a fan of the grill lights, they look 100X better without those lights.

I really hope they don't mess with the appearance too much.   I think if some of those more futuristic lines hold, we'll end up with something that looks like an ugly mix of the current model, the last fox model and an acura.  If it's not broke....

My ideas would be:

Stronger/more fuel efficient engine choices (both v6 and v8)

The addition of 6th gear

Lighter weight/better handling.

Basically, just improve the already solid package.  If new styling was neccessary to keep things fresh, Ford could pick another classic year to pay homage to.  Maybe offer a true 2+2 and a true coupe?

yea i get the 3rd or 4th one, would be great if they were smart enough to offer the rear windows tinted from factory like most other cars and suvs do

I like the red one best. The fascia looks really clean with just the chin spoiler and no fogs. But at the same time its just begging for fogs or maybe even some small scoops to complement the larger. Chrome or silver bullits would be my rim of choice. Love the racing style side mirrors and the offset running horse in the grille just like the 65-66 GT350. The rear fenders have just the right amount of arch to em and the side markers are just the right size. That rubber looks good in the rear to. Nice and healthy.

Its got my vote!
