I hope to get there around 5:00-5:30 and I will start racing around 6 or so
there is a friend of mine who is going who has a 2005 V6 with all the bolt-ons,plus 4.10 gears, Dual exhaust and headers. that wants to race too.  I think you should race so we can represent all aspects of the mustangs a Modded GT and Stock GT, and a heavy modded V6. It would be cool...  I plan to stay till closing (8:00) I want to take some cool pictures of Justin's and My Car. (because Justin needs some better pictures of his car,) I have seen it in person and the pics he has does not do it justice.

Thanks Blackhawk07 and Jweezy. That was a blast... I hope you had as much fun as I  did..
Blackhawk07 Justin and I can help you out, you need to learn to shift and Launch
all it takes is practice. and this track is a good place to do it.
If you want to go more that once a week, on thursday nights there is a track called summer duck
it's about 1.1/2 hour drive from falls church and saturdays in boonsboro, MD 1/1/2 hours drive theres
Mason Dixon it a 1/4 mile track  I like 1/4 mile.  Then theres MIR on the other side of DC also a 1/4 mile.

Justin it was a hot night, but you did a good 9.081.
your car is looking good, once the hood is painted  sweet...
I will post videos of the races soon..
sorry about trying to put you up against Rygens V6 hehe(Turbo) but I could not resist, that car is awsome

I'm glad I met up with you guys, it was a great time indeed.  Yea, with some practice, that car can do better.    Scott, on that last run, did the MPH change on your 1-2 shift help?  In all the excitement, I forgot to ask.  As always thanks for the props on my ride, I'm a huge fan of your car as well.  That car is gorgeous and a strong runner.   There was a guy named Mike there today as well, with a brand new GT...with the temp tags still on it.  Something about a car at the drag strip with the temp tags is just plain special!  LOL.

Launching is the key, I found that out this morning when a 1.8T Jetta took off on me at a light - :P (Don't worry I caught up and passed him)

I will have to try and make it out there with you guys.

So one day I will get to go with you guys, the stang is officially dead until I can buy a new clutch pedal assembly and put that in (rant below)

Basically the previous owner spot welded the part that moves the quadrant back together and the weld broke, so only after driving it can I shift and that's why I can't adjust it right, also I got stuck at the Dunn Loring metro Thursday night and was there until 8, finally got the mustang back to my bros shop, where it sits and waits for me to buy a part .  I would just weld it back together but I figure a getting another clutch pedal assembly would be better.

(Waits for nanaki to say just another excuse! )
