buckman what louvers are those and are you lowered? looks real good. clean, but mean. you have one of my favorite cars on these forums, not to much show, but it looks good with alot of go. My car will probably end up very similar to yours, but without the stripes and maybe a 2.5" cowl :)

8cd, thanks!
The car has the Eibach Pro-Kit on it. The louvers are 3d Carbon, although in retrospect I should have waited about 8 months for the Silverhorse louvers to come out as I like those better.
I like the 2 1/2" cowl hood as well, and might go to that or another one in the future. To be honest, I am so focused on performace that the car will probably stay this same appearance the rest of this race season.

It's pretty simple. Since you already have a Photobucket account, go there and highlight the URL box under your photoand click copy. Once here you will see an icon on the far right at the top that says "add image" click on that and a box will come up. There you can "paste" your URL from photobucket.
Hope this helps.

I love your front Mustang Plate! Where did you get it? Because of our stupid laws here in VA, we have to use two license plates (like the cops can't just see one) but I would love to have one like that to hang on the wall in our garage.

Unfortunately here in VA it is the law that requires a license plate to be mounted back and front. I must admit it is a stupid law but one that has been in place since cars have been on the road.

i have the exact same problem in texas..would totally put a blacked out w/ silver pony license plate or no plate at all..
such a stupid law, honestly ive never heard of a policeman pulling you over from in front of you and looking at your front licnese plate, they only look at the back GAH i think as long as you have it somewhere, no matter how many you should be good.

Sorry, no pics but I do have a question. Do the door sills for the pony package have a chrome plate that says mustang on them? The service tech at the dealer swore up and down that those just came on the GT'swithout actually looking at any, and ignored my asking if they came with the pony package or not.

No they don't. Well , it's not part of the Pony Package. I bet those that have the chrome plate also have the IUP (Interior Upgrade Package).

I've got the Interior Sports Apperance Package which includes the upgraded streering wheel, shifter, and (drum role please) metal pedal overlays. The ISAP also includes the standard dash without any charcoal or aluminum inlays.

any one else?! im looking for ideas for christmas. i want to keep with the retro look so im thinking either an oem or roush hood scoop, and then im not sure whether i want silver horse flush mount quarter window louvers or oem side scoops, and then a few other things. i know the 65 and 66 fastbacks had the louvers and so did the 65 shelby gt350, but the 66 gt350 had a window and added scoops. i wont be adding a side stripe that says gt350 because i want to keep my car a mustang. so with that in mind maybe i should just do the louvers?

keep in ind im a college student who might need to go halfsies with his parents to get some things dependent on price. i know i wont be getting close to everything on my list

heres the list i got so far:

-17" polished oem bullitt style rims (i would use the stock pirellis as tires to save some cash and id probably have to split the cost)
-functional shelby billet hood pins

-silver horse racing flush mount louvers or oem side scoops (need help deciding)

Chin spoiler or airdam? That's what I am thinking about doing. Also, smoking the corner lights might suit you.

I had to go back through the pages - this thread started quite awhile ago! Those were done under the Blue Water Bridges in Port Huron - where Lake Huron meets up with the St. Clair River. The car has seen some more mods since those pictures were taken and posted, both appearance and performance - appearance mods: added dual exhaust, Roush hood scoop, black bullitts, white door welt, and took the shelby superstripe down the front bumper:

http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s256/jimandpat/hires-jim3.jpg
(taken when I hadn't finished the front bumper, screwed up the lower part and had to order a replacement from Baltimore Street Mods):

If I ever stripe mine that's EXACTLY how I want my stripe to be, going straight down the front bumper right over and through that plate dent so it practically disappears. NICE.

Did you or your installer find it difficult to mould the vinyl stripe into all the curves of the plate cutout?

they're actually a set of take-off 18 inch fanblade wheels off of a Mustang GT that I got off a buy for really cheap (he upgraded to 20's). I had them professionally powdercoated by a buddy of mine, all and all it was a 700 dollar investment (wheels and tires)

yea, I found the old owners original paper work in the glove box. It was originally just a deluxe stang. I also found the paper work of how they changed the grill about 2 months after they bought it. So it's not a real pp. I'm the one who installed the fender emblems ang gt spoiler. I'm working on some 18" chrome bullitts now.

Mr. Sandman!!! Your car is awesome! I just bought one that looks just like yours. I don't have the pony package, but I have the the Mustang letters on the rocker panel. I don't have the pony emblems on the fenders but after seeing your photos, I want to have them installed.

Mr. Sandman!!! Your car is awesome! I just bought one that looks just like yours. I don't have the pony package, but I have the the Mustang letters on the rocker panel. I don't have the pony emblems on the fenders but after seeing your photos, I want to have them installed.

I havea couple ofdings and scratches that go all the way through to the primer. They are really noticeable against the black. Have you had that problem, and do you have any suggestions for fixes?

his car is brand new... lol no dings

Mine is not black but I had a chip down to the primer. Took it to the dealer and
they filled it. Looks great, and it was well worth the $125. :)

Mine is probably as new as his but it was mistreated by whoever owned it for a few months. It is an '07. I don't know what color your 'stang is but the black ones show every little blemish.
