Default Radar Dectectors

Before you flame me, I tried searching and didn't quite find what I was looking for. So now my question is, everyone seems to say the valentine 1 is godly. Now that the escort 9500i is out, how does it compare? What would you go with?

I know I'll get flamed for saying this, however the Valentine is achunky and ratheroutdated design. It was the Ferrari/Rolls-Royce/Cadillac of it's time--but time has marched on. Similar or better performance can be had for under $200 in a number of other brands...

Bel RX65 is a great unit.
I like it better than the Passport 8500 I sold.

K-40, add the license plate laser defuser. You'll be untouchable. Literally. Sadly not to many people know about K-40. The RD-850 is a nice, non-installed unit. The Calibre system is amazing. But expensive, well I guess if it gets you out a just a couple tickets, between paying the tickets, insurance rates increasing, it may actually be an investment. K-40 even gives youa year warranty against tickets, if you get one with their system. They pay for it.

I am with him that k-40 is supposed to be the best and they will pay your tickets if you get one, but for $1500 it better come with a happy ending......

page 3 of my sig shows the remote unit I installed. I found it on ebay for $100 shipped so I got it.
