It seems like this is an old thread that was brought back to life but I hadn't seen it yet, so I will put in my 2 cents.

I have had similar problems with my 2007 Saleen E. I have 3K miles on it and and have had loose bolts causing oil leaks, wrong program in the PCM, rear differential noise (supposedly overtightened bolts), loud drivetrain noise (clunks) when shifting, poor throttle response, bad clutch (that's what it's at the dealership for now), wrong boost gauge installed from factory, the new boost gauge was DEAD for a full week while I was out of town with it, and right as I got back to town it started SEMI working again, now it is very erratic just like this thread describes, dealer says there isn't anything wrong with it.

Something else that is scary is the cruise control...when I set the cruise at hwy speed, then accelerate, and let off the throttle, the car continues to accelerate for another 2 full seconds like I have my foot still in it....

I bought my E last year in October brand new from the dealer with 700 miles on it (used as a dealer demo), and it's been in the shop for a total of over 2 weeks (that's with owning it for a little over 31 weeks, and it was in the garage for 20 of those weeks!! That's about 22% of the time I have owned the car and been able to drive it in non-winter weather, it has been in the shop)

I just hope these problems don't keep coming up as I get closer to the end of my 1 year warranty from Saleen.
