What size bike are you looking for? Because most 600s and bigger are gonna cost you more than that unless they are pretty old (or have a ton of miles). I just bought a Yamaha YZF600R, Ive seen them for about 3-4K, but also keep in mind that riding isnt too cheap, esp if youre a beginner. Youll also have insurance, helmet and gear, tax, title, licensing, etc.

LOL bad idea i did that exact thing i sold my stang to you bought BIKE and then boom a wreck... People do not watch out for bikes (very easy to get ran off the road by other asses) basicly before i totalled the bike everytime i took it out (i was in some form scared) not really scared but very nervous.. Yea there fun as hell to drive until that minivan pulls out in front of u going 5 mph and ur at 60 on a 1 lane rd with a rocky shoulder (that will make u sh** urself quick.
