Default good idea, or should I stay tr

I want to put on my BBK shorties and just run straight 2 1/2' pipe back to my Flowmasters and then 2 1/2' to the rear of the car and out (It's an LX, needs pipes out the back). What do you think? Should I just get the H-Pipe or will this work? What will happen with the O2 sensors? I've heard this set up will be fine but my check engine light will come on. I think I'd like the sound better than an H-Pipe.... What about 3' pipe??? Any suggestions?

you need to have a crossover of some sort, either an H or an X, it can be homemade though... get some MIL eliminators or make some and your check engine light will go away.

If cost is the issue, just buy a used x or h pipe, it will cost the same as making one but will flow alot better I'm sure.

It's proven an H & X Pipe will flow better than straight pipes through mufflers.
