I want to put on my BBK shorties and just run straight 2 1/2' pipe back to my Flowmasters and then 2 1/2' to the rear of the car and out (It's an LX, needs pipes out the back).  What do you think?  Should I just get the H-Pipe or will this work?  What will happen with the O2 sensors?  I've heard this set up will be fine but my check engine light will come on.  I think I'd like the sound better than an H-Pipe.... What about 3' pipe???  Any suggestions?

I had a buddy try something similar that you want and his car ran like crap. He then put a 2 1/2" h-pipe on it and it ran real good. Might just have been his car but  I would go with the h-pipe.

you need a crossover pipe to balance the exhaust pulses.  Don't skip it.
