Default "Sure sounds like a WS6?"

Took the car out today, with skinnies up front and stock rear wheels/tires out back, and ran into a slant eye fellow in aFoxbody with another guy in the passenger side. I was with a Mustang buddy of mine. He really got a kick out of this. This was at a stoplight:

Him: "Is that a WS6?"
Me: "Na."
Him: "It sure sounds like a WS6."
Me: uzzled: "Na, it's just a V6, honestly."
Him: "Really! That thing is kickass!"

Honestly...are people that dumb?

Oh yea, 16x8's with 245's on them are lots of fun on my car. I caught traction easing out of 3rd, I'm a 3 speed btw, and the car bogged like hell, of course, I was only running around 30mph.

i got pulled over in my stratus a few months ago for "someone in a red mustang was going burnouts in McDs parking lot". the cop then inspected the rear wheelwells for "signs of burnouts". he looked so hard, he didnt notice that the car was FWD.

ive also heard a track announcer say that my car has to be a big block because my car was too big to run mid 12s with a small block.

hell, ive heard someone say that LT1s and LS1s were in the same year f-bodies, and were in the Z28 and SS, respectively.

I was quite impressed with the amounts of stupidity radiating from his mouth.

JohnJr, what does your car run on motor? Do you know? Is it a low CR motor for the supercharger? I only ask b/c I have a buddy building a similar setup to try and outrun my car with him on motor and me on the gas. He said it's only going to be 10:1 but he plans on making 500rwhpsomehow on motor alone. Is that even feasible without a solid roller and just 10:1?

Oh yea, these are the same guys that consider my car a race car instead of a street car...yet I'm the one with stock heads/intake/throttle body/mass air/crank/rods/etc/etc....you get the picture. Hard to believe a cam swap makes ya a racecar nowadays. If I did heads Iguess I should run in the top fuel class. It's quite amusing.
