Thats self defeating. Just a house? Thats the limit of what you want? Well I guess not everyone wants to do what they want when they want. Some people like to work thier entier lives and live in a 2 bedroom apartment and drive a POS car. You dont have the POS, but aspire to more than just a job. Think Big.

Or you can just let him live life how he wants? Not takin a jab at u or defending him or nothin like that, just sayin, u sound like some high school counselor. If he wants a house instead of a certain car, who cares? Sorry just thought i'd throw my opinion up in this

I never said he was any different. He found the story funny and thought it was post worthy. Dude, it's a dead subject & thread that doesn't need to turn into a 7 page debate-athon.

Thats gonna be funny if this is the last page. lol

Hey 98somerussiancrapicantread, I kinda jumped on your case back there for no apparent reason and you kept your cool. That's rare here. Sorry, maybe I had a bad day or something.
BTW, Pam Anderson>Penelope Cruz. Penelope looks like a rat IMO.

off topic: what's up with this smiley? Funny as hell! When would you ever use it?

A house appreciates in value, the Viper will depreciate.

A house is the best purchase you can make, besides, why spend 70 grand on a Viper when you could get 12s out of an 01 SVT for a 1/3rd of the price?

Cause you'd be driving a Viper.

OK... and?

Well, with that theory, why not buy a Chevette and make it run single digits for half the cost of an '01 Slowbra?

Cause you'd then be driving a Chevette....get it now?

The money argument is stupid. I bet guys with Enzo's get that a lot....must suck to be them.

you could use it in a "mine is bigger than yours" argument. the 4.6 can be luke, and the LS1on3!!!1 can be darth vader.

He doesn't have a '98. And I replied to you on this once in another thread, I don't guess you've seen it. Have you ever seen one dyno?

All of them dyno nearly identical numbers as the 99-02 cars. I researched this a ton before buying the '98 that I got a great deal on. Manifolds suck and the '98's don't have the LS6 intake. Which doesn't make that much difference on a stock car anyhow. A decent header and catback will put the '98's right with the rest of them. Or, in my case, some long tubes and an x-pipe.

i say lay off the V6 camaros. there is alot more than you guys think. my last car was a 96 V6 camaro. i put down 180 hp and 215ftlbs bone stock with 125,000 miles. also i ran 9.70's consitentaly after exhaust. best 1/4 was only 15.1@94 but, it was really hot and humid. Not to mention they are peglegs.or one wheel wonders. my best 60 ft ever was 2.36.....No traction with a one wheeler, Take a stock V6 camaro 5 speed, and put an LSD rear-end in it, and it will run 14.8's. that is impressive for a pushod 3.8 V6 that got 32 miles per gallon on the intersate(even beofre i sold it with 150,000....and you guys know how slow V6 mustangs are, they arent even close to the V6 fbodies......
all that aside. i love my mustang......hahahha...lol

*looks it up* damnit, so they are. wonder why chevy did that, when the dohc engines are making just as much power.

you know what. I'm tired of your attitude. You talk about most of what i say is incorrect when all you do is sit on an internet forum and insult people to make yourself sound smart. I apologize for there being 4 different variations of the same engine in one company.

Grand Prix SE, GT, GTP and Camaro 3.8s. I apologize I don't have ALL of the information in front of me like some big computer nerd.

oh and per your signature...

V8 is a drink as well, not a motor. Thanks, move along.

the 3.8 V6 fbody motor is a hell of a V6. I work on one that my friend has. He should be hitting a 14.5 in a few weeks with it with UNDER 500 bucks in mods.

Well, it seems that DOHC motors get less fuel economy, weigh more, cost more to work on, cost more to mod, etc....

That's fine and dandy but most people buy GTPs to mod them, all you gotta do is slap on a pulley and a shift kit, bolt ons and the such.

I've seen a GTP tag 11s, at that point i don't care about gas mileage.
