Me and eindow headed out to see what my 04 gt and his convertible cobra does on the dyno (dyno jet).
To my surrprise it dynoed at 261rwhp and 297lbs.
eindows cobra did 430rwhp

Yeah, I also think that those numbers are not correct.
I told them that I was expecting around 240-245rwhp, but they said that the numbers are accurate
Also, another mustang was dynoed at the same shop with more bolt on than me, and he dynoed at 250rwhp
Eindow was argueing that it might be accurate because I do trap alittle high at the track compared to other mustangs, But Im stubborn, and I think that it is inaccurate.

Yeah... I just don't see 30-40rwhp off of pullies, midpipe back exhhaust, ported tb and a tune, ya know? The torque looks to be right on though... unless there's something done to that motor that your not aware of.... ?

The #'s are correct look at the top right corner of the dyno sheet "CF - SAE" if the dyno is altered the SAE correction factor won't show...

I see the dyno charts, but if you have those mods on your termy and making that kinda power? I have seen it just not often. Could be a killer tune, these things respond all different.
But the GT with basic intake/exhaust mods isn't putting up 260rwhp. It's a very forgiving dyno for that car. Dynos are still all relative though. I would take it to another dyno, on a non dyno day.
My car doesn't have a tune, and their was a cobra with: X-Pipe, Cat-Back, 2.7 pulley, CAI, Tune; that dyno'd at 449rwhp 3 cars before mine(sucks to be him[:@]), but he did put down 46*something rwtq. As for 04gtstang's GT it was the highest bolt-on GT dyno'd, the one behind his put down 254rwhp with more bolt-on than 04gtstang has[8D], he's ran 13.6's in 40 mph head winds at the same track(and day) sleeper05 ran a 13.5 best and Jeff's(sleeper) pulled 12.7 under normal conditions[&:].... Just a though...
