Default 2001 GT vs. 94 T/A

one of my buddies has a bad-ass looking black 01 GT. all he has is CAI and exhaust. which is all i have in my TA. i have a4 and run consistantly in the mid to low 14's. hes gotta 5 speed and i dont know what he runs.. he hasnt been to the track. i took him for a ride in it awhile ago and he thinks the TA feels alittle faster. but i know that really doesnt mean anything. what do you guys think.. drivers race? depend on the launch? lemme know.

If your running low-mid 14's.... Should be a drivers race all the way... he may have a slight edge if hes a good driver.

If you get him off the line, you'll win. If he gets you, you'll have your hands full.

you should pull out on the top end.. your still running 14's even with the mods you have? YOu should be ready to crack 13's by now. you sure that the car is running correctly?

if its hot where you live get a 160 thermo and a manual fan switch... that will help tons. But you have a problem already. Thermo, water pump and fan problems are common for the LT1's. Get that finxed and control your heat and you should see real close to 13's.

EDIT: dood you got problems. you need to have the car checked out. you need a tune up, a new fuel filter and to have teh converter checked to see if it's cloged.
