Default Build #?

If you didn't buy the car new and don't have the original paper work, how do you find out the build # of your car?

I found the answer to this 1-800-FORD-SVT. You send them proof of ownership and they send you a replacement Certificate. Nice folks too, we talked a little about the 07 Cobra.

When you call SVT they can give you a fax number. Fax them a proof of ownership like your registration, and they will issue YOU an SVT certificate. Good Luck[sm=burnout.gif]

Wouldn't the build number be in the VIN? Like the last 8 or 10 digits?

Yes, All I Had too do with My first Cobra { the RedFire one I had before Mystic } Is I called SVT and they ask me for the VIN# I gave it too them and they told me who I was. I guess the Place I bought the RedFire Cobra told them that I was now the Owner. Had the Certificate within Weeks After that, I've had the Mystic since April and still have'nt got It Yet and It was New.

A lot of people are talking about a certificate, was I supposed to get one from the dealer?

Thanks for your time.

Sincerely,

Jeff
