Out here in the NW second stickers are running anywhere between $3000 and $9000, assuming you can find one on the lot! The closer to Seattle you get the higher the second sticker! Availability here is scarce. Right now the two dealers I've worked with have already sold all their inbounds.
$24750.00 after X-Plan off $26650.00 MSRP. Took several weeks to find a dealer to discount without requiring me to order and wait. I got this deal by watching the FORD.COM dealer inventory link. The cars sometimes show ther before they are at the Dealership. I called and found an dealer car not yet spoken for. Made the trade and dollar deal Wed. 2-3 -05, the truck dropped the car off next day, and the deal was closed. Other dealers wanted as much as $3500.00 over MRSP.
this makes me feel like i got ripped off. my msrp was 27,900 then they added the 20" rims and tires and the billet grill and the sticker came out to 31,999. I was able to get it for 34,000 out the door after tax and lisence. So i paid about 30,000 before taxes with the 20's and the grill. I am going to try and get the stock rims and tires out of them since I actually paid for them in the sticker. They have no right to keep those from me. But did i get ripped off or did i get an ok deal?? I have seen them marked up to 38,000 at the dealers.
It took me two months to find a GT for sale on the lot that wasn't marked above MSRP. One was priced $3500.00 above. When I went back 3 weeks later, it was sold. Don't know for what $, but some are selling more than a few $100's above retail.
If you are happy (your car looks really cool with the 20's, ya got me thinking about the mod), who cares. I say enjoy the car !!
Paid $25,470 for my FireRed GT with 5 Spd man AC dark charcoal cloth int power seats ABS traction control and premium stereo sys with cd spoiler delete. Just brought it Monday
I paid 28,105 for my 2005 GT Premium. Screaming Yellow, IUP, Auto, Anti Theft. First time in my life I ever paid MSRP for a new car. Guess I should feel lucky to just pay MSRP
23870 for deluxe gt + 579 for shk 500 and 289 for theft and 189 for rims brimngs the grand damage to 24,870 not bad in my opinion, 500.00 over dealer cost (supposedly) its the people that pay big premiums over msrp that ruin it for other people that do not want to get raped. i will never goto a big city, high volume dealer again, small town dealer, good people, good prices, businesses that concern themselves with there reputation, they depend on it, if they screw someone, it gets around in a small town. i am in south wi. bushnell ford in lodi wi. i highly recommend them to anyone interested in buying a gt or any other car for that matter. i have heard of people paying 3-4000 over msrp just to have a gt, this is ridiculous and once again ruins it for the average joe.
GT Premium. Man trans. Interior upgrad pkg, interior accent pkg. Crimson red leather. 17" bright machined wheels. $27,445, (counting $625 dest & delivery). Also My color and shaker 500... Sticker, dealer would not budge, but it was worth every penny.

$500 under sticker Black GT prem, auto, IUP, AT, and side bags. Ordered it 2-15-05, dealer said he had a order in place all ready and he could change the specs to mine and it is scheduled to be here 3-12. Hope it happens
Wow!, I seen here someone paid only 24,000 thats incrediable considering I've seen some 6 cylinders go for that price and to the guy who got the 20 inch tires in my opinion that looks freaky great and that grill is awesome too. Be glad you have them they make the care beefier. What about that speedometer is that read correctly in your unit?
I bought mine almost three weeks ago. Paid slightly over sticker, which was $28,450. Hey, I felt good about that. I test drove the same car in a different color at another dealer in town, and they were asking $10,000 over sticker!! Most other dealers were marking up over sticker at least $2500.
The Pacific Northwest seems to have very few of these cars. I couldn't get a dealer in town to even order me one for sticker. Plus, the auto tranny is hard to find, too, so I felt lucky I found a car I wanted. Plus, it had the IUP, which around here, is unusual to find on a lot. Boy, does the aluminum dash look nice with the white exterior and black leather interior!
I should add that my sig is wrong. I also have wheel locking kit and side airbags.
