ok, i have been reading through this forum and some others, and i continually see people talking about their timing being 10* or 14* etc. what does that mean? i have been trying to figure it out, but havn't been able to make much headway. i am guessing it has to do with valve timing, but beyond that, im not too sure. any help would be great. thanks

10 degrees is stock... and 14 degrees is what every one like's to advance them to..... accomplished by turning the distributor..... and using a timing light to check it out according to the harmonic balancer....
