I put a Hurst shifter on my car and I love it, but in first, third and fifth, I'm almost slamming my knuckles into the radio - even after adjusting it down as far as it would go. Anyone else got this problem? And how does the Steeda tri-ax compare?

I have a Hurst, and I dont have problems with hitting my radio. I did when I had my pistol grip shifter, but Ive since used the stock knob and the Hurst ball shift knobs with no problems.
