Modified Macferson strut vs. coilover
I've asked alot of times, but I still can't decide. What are the downfalls of the modified macfearson strut design that is used in sn95 mustangs? I want to know what I can't make up for my upgrading my springs and shocks. What is going to be the big differance in the handling. I enjoy doing canyon running, and for that, I need stiff high speed handling with good traction for acceleration and high G turns. What is going to be the big differance in my performance if I get coilovers, over new springs and shocks for my car. If I get coilovers, aside from comfort, what will I gain? I don't care much about comfort, more about hitting those corners as fast as possible and having my body stay flat and level so I can tear it up with my friend's WRX's and 350Z's.
