Default 3.8L and 3.9L use same parts?

hi guys. I have been doing some more research on aftermarket parts I can get, but can I use any parts for the 99+ 3.8L on my 04 "3.9L"? It's the same engine right?

You should be able to use the same parts. The stroke is the only thing that is different.
