A New Cobra in front of me. A pick up truck next to him, a 1990 gt with Gauges out the azz on the dashboard to my left, and me the trusty old blue89. We are gunning like crazy and I'm having fun watching the girl in the passenger side of the truckfreak out. I give my car a little power brake just enough not to brake loose cause I know the cobra is gonna hole shot.
The light goes green and off he goes like a raped ape. My right rear has broke loose and I see the smokeing rubber from my rear view. At about 200 feet I see the silver grey 90 gt come up from behind me like I'm still at the stop light. Poor Blue has seen better days but I kept up with the Cobra for about 300 ft.
what do u have done to your 89? Cobras are badass, tough to keep up even the first couple hundred feet, unless he was spinnin like a bitch and u got a perfect launch. not callin bs just wonderin. O and this should be in the street/strip section lol
edit: Of course u can keep up from the launch if u have awd, had to add that in so i dont get jumped on lol
Put anywhere you like it. this is fine. Racing is fun but racing on the road is not smart. You could kill someone and goto jail. Sorry to sound like a old fart.

racing on the road is cool, as long as you make sure you and everyone around you are as safe as possible. i.e. not in town, or near other cars. I can't afford track costs, or the 2 hr drive to a track so I have to street race, and yes I HAVE to.

A little creative license about my poor old Blue. Not even close, he pulled away pretty quickly. Dont have any mods on the car. Just keep it nice and clean.
We all know sreet racing is dangerous, but for adrenaline junkies it just something that feeds the appetite. At my age you would think I'd be more responsible. [sm=guilty.gif]
