Welcome to the forums! 66 is a nice year! You should have alot of fun with it. As for your problem it could be alot of things, maybe the fuel line or fuel filter might be needed. What kind of a set up does it have? Also for alot more replys on your year I would post your problem at the Classic mustang forum too, might get some good feedback there. Where you stat you live in and might we see the sexy lady? (the car that is 8-) )

Wecome!!! I love the 66 mustangs. They rule. You will see me in the Classic mustang forums. Hard to tell why you stall out? Are you getting gas to the carb?

Wow...You guys were a huge help. Have you had the carb apart? Thats the first thing I would look into. Get a rebuild kit and start there. If it's been sitting for 10 years, I'm guessing the jets are clogged solid. If it starts and runs...Then all it needs is a little carb cleaning or adjustment.
