Here is my latest joint venture with my mentor.
It is nice to work as a team with someone to get the job done and get it done right.

It took two of us about seven hours to do this car.

The owner stated that the car looked better than when he bought it new.

Here is the original post on Autopia for reference.
Nissan 350Z and Zaino products. (http://autopia.org/forum/click-brag/86976-silver-350z-polished-zaio-z2pro-clear-seal.html)

Below is a quote from the link above.
I can't seem to get the quote thingy to work right tonight.[:@]

A big thanks to Jim for getting us setup with this one.
I saw the car up at the airport a month ago and thought it didn't look that bad.

Jim and I started by washing the wheel wells, tires and wheels. After seeing the wheels I knew I should of brought the PB SnR with me.
We started with AM777 APC 1:4 on the tires. After scrubbing them down twice with a good brush. They still dried brown. Jim was working on the wheels using the same APC mix. We where going thru the APC fast so I mixed up more at 1:3. Each tire got 4 sessions. Each session we would spray APC, scrub, let sit and scrub more. I think the tires had some thick dealer applied crap on them. Last time the car was washed was in Jan during a 30k service at the dealer. So we finally got the tires to where they were not brown anymore when they dried. Jim did a wonderful job on the wheels. He used 2 different brushes and a sponge.
Paint process:
Again I thought it didn't look that bad. :nervous:
Plenty of marring and some deep scratches going left/right.

Tried the following:
ZPC white LC VC pad PC6- Got out 50% or so in one pass, not good enough.
ZPC Orange P2 pad PC6- Looking better at 70%, but more cut is needed.
Menzerna IP Orange P2 pad PC6- Suprising only a little better then the ZPC.
EC/OP mix White CCS pad Rotary 1500- 90% defect removal only the deep left/right scratches remain. Repeated same in the areas of the deep scratches and success.

The hood seems very thin on these cars and gets hot very quick with the rotary. This was the only area that got "hot" after only 3-4 passes with the rotary.
Jim was working on the interior while I was working the rotary.
Jim joined in the polishing and did most of the lower side panels with ZPC, orange pad and the PC. He also did the front and rear plastic covers.
Z6 dust wipedown.
I did ZAIO via white LC VC pad PC6.
Jim continued on the interior.
Jim applied 1x of Z2pro to paint/glass, removed with Z6.
Jim did Clear Seal to paint, glass and trim.
Jim finsihed with Z8.
Wheels got the following by Jim:
ZAIO via MF
Clear Seal
Tires: Z-16
Interior got:
Vac
Apc Wipedown
303 applied to all plastic surfaces
IG glass
