ok. about the me vs capri. he doesnt sound stock, but, oh well. its all for fun. both times weve raced, i lost, cuz i F**KED UP my launches BAD !!! so, my fault, but, like i said, all for fun.
now. me vs '91 lx. were friends too. first time we raced, he beat me by a car. well, last weekend, i put my shifter in, and did oil change, and tranny fluid change and all that good stuff. so, we went out Sat night and we raced again. i had him out of the hole(just like the first time we raced), then, shift for shift we were even. BUT, change of story this time.....I WONT. by like 1/2 a car. his front bumper was at my door. how did i make up a car and a half ??? or do you think ive just improved my driving. idk, but, i loved it. he was pissed off too. oh well. nothing i can do about it. i mean, yeah, i had the whole shot, but, hes got a shifter and a lot lighter. mods wise, we have same exhaust, 'cept hes got an h-pipe and flowmasters, while i just have flowmaster cat-back. i got a bbk fenderwell mount cai and a Pro 5.0 shifter. i seriously doubt a shifter and intake could have made up a car and a half.........oh well, i won. WOO-HOO !!

good job although you know I don't condone street racing. you won because of the holeshot no doubt. look at it this way, assume both of you do 100 mph in the 1/4 mile just for arguments sake. that's 146.66 feet per sec, so a .050 holeshot is 7.33 feet, or about 1/2 a car length at the finish line.
