so there i was, driving my 97 talon tsi. i got off the freeway, and i end up next to a stock 2000 camaro z28 (ss?). the guy is looking over at me like iwas some ricer punk. i didnt care. i was listening to a good song. there is a left then a straight. right before the light he gives a rev. i look over and think...not another "i got a v8" joker...pulease! so on green i complete the turn and hes next to me. when he guns it, so do i. lets put it like this...
unless the ls1 was spinning-"he was spinning, wrx was winning". so, you still got your wrx ?? AND a TSi........so sweet. i love TSi's. id rather have a TSi than a GSX. look better imo.

never had an sti. just a lowly 03 wrx with jdm/usdm STi drivetrain.
we only took it up to about 60 or so. i've never run the talon in the 1/4 so i dont know. i run about 22-24psi. stock is about 14.8 w/ smaller turbo and 14psi. i say its about a high 12 sec car...but i dont like bench racing. i pulled on him pretty hard. next week ill be able to compare it to the subie...which is MUCH stronger.
What does your car run in the 1/4 mile? I'm not calling bull**** but to take an LS1 from a roll you've gotta trap at least 105.
you gotta remember, i trapped 105 in my wrx with a smaller turbo and 4-5 psi less...in a heavier car. the dsm pulls harder on the top end than the wrx ever did.
you call hitting 60 mph a race? Sorry WRX even if your Talon ran 12s that LS1 would eat that car up in the end. Not saying you cant beat the LS1 in a 1/4 race but even a stock SS will run low 13s stock . And a roll with a LS1 hmmm i dunno wish you would of went over 100. I beat LS1s in 1/4 mile but i cant beat one at a roll and i know with full slicks my car will run a 12.8 easy. So go run the Tsi and post some numbers. I would like to know.
