Default 05-07 s281sc trans

I bought a pypes o/r x pipe and it didnt fit on my 07 s281sc. The front o2 sensor on the passenger side pushed up against the tranny, and would not fit. Just wanted to know if the saleen's have a different transmission or if it was a poorly made pipe.

It's a Tremec 3650 tranny just like the 05+ Mustang GT's have. You can just take the midpipe to any muffler shop and have them weld in a new bung for your 02 sensor at a different angle. Make sure they don't angle it below 4-oclock or below 8-oclock, as condensation can build up and ruin the sensor. This should fix your problems.

Thats odd John - mine fit fine. I do recall the passenger side sensor being a b!tch to get to though. If there is no tweaking that you can do to get it to fit, I would call who you bought it from and get it exchanged - suppose its possible it was cut in a tad off.
