this might be in the wrong forum. To start we need more info on the car. Like what motor, is it an lx,gt, what? It looks like there is a ton of rust!!! The door rust isn't bad because you can buy a different door, but the rocker panel and fender wells is what is going to sap some BIG money. We really need to know more about the car. That two car garage would be an excellent place towork on the stang though

6 Cylinders 171 Z 2.8L 2BL and as for the rust, im going to be getting it painted black soon with about a 35 tint all around maybe 25 or so on the back area. this is just to give some people the idea of what i actually have to work with here, just taking opinions on whether it should be sold or worked on, or ideas of what could be done with the car if it was worth it.

I don't know what to tell other then if your happy owning it then keep it and mod it, if not then sell. If your getting it painted and tinted you will loose money when/if you try to sell it. A paint job isn't cheap so consider that, and the fact that you have a 6cyl when most people want a 5.0. That is just whatmost peoplethink when they see a fox "Does it have a 5.0?". Hope that helps you out a little.

Wiring harness, suspension, don't know what rear end your cars has but 8.8 is the way to go. Don't know what tranny it has but most go with the eod or c4 if auto, T5 manual. Driveshaft if replacing tranny, front brakes might need to be updated to the 5.0 for better stopping power. That might be all that is needed to do a 5.0 swap.

Well I'm 19 and I'm going to be doing a 5.8(I just have to add a hood to that list) swap into my 4cyl. I finally landed a very good job though so that will help a lot. If your gonna do the swap, hit the local junk yard or the classifieds on this site, That will be the cheapest way to swap.
