Default WTF?! Help PLZ

Hey guys,

After FINALLY putting in my 351 and having it running, i, as expected, encountered many problems, and I hope you guys can help me out.

Specs:
Stock block
600 lift cam with 1.72 rockers (the lift is the TOTAL value)
Ford Racing Valve Covers with breathers and Summit filters attached (the filters were oversized, but i notched the rubber fitting to make it fit, they were the only ones available in my area).
stock pistons, rods, crank,
Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads
Edelbrock Intake
Holley 750.

ANYWAY, so this engine is rebuilt with all brand new parts. However, i was driving it around today (not much brakes, cam is too big so it doesnt make any vacuum), and after a while when i was stopped at a traffic light, i GASPED in horror. There was BLUE smoke coming out of the exhaust (this is after a couple of days driving it around). Can anyone gimme an idea of what the source of this is?

Now, the tuning on the carb isnt great (the car lags and is hesitant on accel, but fine at idle, idling at about 1800 rpm, on average). What else, umm, oh and the exhausts are turned down towards the ground (and im HATING it, makes waaay too much vibration and bass).

PLUS, anyone know how to solve this brake problem?

Thanks in advance

as far as the blue smoke.. you said youve drove it for a couple of days...
maybe you broke a ring , when putting it together or stuck, how did you line the rings up? what kind of rings did you use?
some brand of rings take longer to break in than others.
maybe you didnt file the rings down right?
dont know, didnt build it? lol
but hope it quits smokin
