I'm going to be getting new tires very soon, so I was wondering what the best tires for 400 dollars I could get. I would be getting 275/40/17. I want nice street tires. I would only drive on them in the sunshine and rain no snow what so ever. Also I would want something that the tread would last me some time. Do you have anything in mind?

your not gonna get anything decent for under $400... atleast not a set of 4 tires anyway.

I had Sumitomo HTR+'s on my stock wheels and they werent bad at all, still a cheap tire, but not bad. So when i got my new wheels I bought Sumitomo HTRz's.... crap... simply crap. They didnt offer any traction whatsoever, I could spin them at idle........Sure, they were cheap.. But I paid for it in the end.

Going by what tirerack has listed on their site... I would recommend THESE as the cheapest (cost wise) tire to run. BFG tires are great, and I think youll be happy with them

those tires do seem very good. But before I make any decisions does any one have any other opinions?

Im personally going to be getting a set of either those BFG's or a set of Nittos 555's for the front of my car. I will however be running Nitto 555R's in back

The BF sports are good.  You may also want to check out the Kumho SPT's.

they are a lot stickier and grip a lot better at the track...your done in the rain though...also the Rs will last you about 9k miles where the regular 555s will last a lot longer because the Rs are Drag Radials
