1995 Cobra Indianapolis Pace Car Edition

I met a man who used to work for Ford and who bought a 1994 Cobra Pace Car Edition straight off the block. Well I got to talking about Ford and their future plans about SVT and about Ford in general. I asked him about his Cobra and he said it wasnt running right now because of a cylinder leak and an exhaust leak. I asked him how the exhaust leak happened and he said he ran over a bumper on another car and it tore a weld. Then I asked him what happened to the cylinder and he said it justs needs to be rebuilt. Well then I asked him how many miles he has on it and Holy Poop! Hes got 312,000 Miles on his 1995 Cobra Indianapolis Motor Speedway Pace Car Editon!!! He has only changed the trans once at 200,000. That is the highest mileage on any Mustang I have ever heard of. Let alone a car that Ford man 1-1000( 1 was Fords so more like 1-999).

Ya its a sweet car but it has normal wear. He's getting it re-painted red and fixing the exhaust leak but he hasnt put any of the Pace car stickers on it or anything so it looks like a regualr Cobra besides the embrodered seats.

1994 cobra was the pace car edition not 1995, tell him he bought a 1994 cobra not a 1995 unless its not a real pace car. Dont beleive me look it up you can find it. I dont see how someone could be so ignorant about there own car. Anyway they really are nice cars and thats a lot of miles.

in 1994 there was only ONE type of Mustang Convertable.. it has to be a 1994 Indy Mustang Cobra and also ALL were Red.. if the taillights are the 1994-1995 vintage and its a convertable but NOT a cobra then it MUST be a 1995. just my 2 cents... btw.. i was at the 1994 Mustang Cobra Pace Car unvailing at the Indianapolis Convention Center in January of 1994.. I have the Invitation, a poloroid of me with standing with two (girl) models behind the open door of the unveiled cobra... also I received the press kit (black and white photos of the 1994 and 1964 pace cars on the yard of bricks.. also in the press kit are 2 Color Slides of the cars on the yard of bricks.along with an offficial Ford letter telling of the event.......I was in hog heaven......and still am cause I have the memorabilia to show for it...
