I just got my jba longtubes installed and I can hear it vibrating against something under the hood. I can sorta feel it in the floor boards. It sounds like the passenger side, not sure whats hitting though. I got the polyurethane motor mounts installed as well. By the way, the car sounds awesome!

Have you noticed at that the steering or turning one way seems a little harder? The reason I ask this is when I originally have my headers installed by some local shop at the time...the headers were so bulky that they were hitting I believe the steering colum and was making it hard to turn one way and would vibrate. Had to have the one side taken off and bent in just a little.
you need new motor mounts...i had the same problem. new motor mounts = no banging
it's a shame that JBA didnt mention in the manual that you would need new motor mounts also. i believe that JBA is the only system that REQUIRES new motor mounts.

I don't mean to hijack your thread but I have 2 questions and don't want to open up an entire new thread. So, what does the install usually run on a pair of longtubes? And what is the difference in noise level? Is it much louder, or just a different tone?

I did get new motor mounts installed at the same time. I noticed it makin noise when I turned a couple times, but not anymore. It seems to be not as bad now, but it will vibrate a little when just idleing. I will take a closer look when it warms up a little, see if I can borrow a hoist. I installed my flo-pro mufflers first, made a little difference, but these headers with the off road h pipe, wow, its really loud, but sounds nice. I also noticed the exhaust drone isn't as bad anymore. If i can, i will put up a clip of the exhaust.

i had this same problem with my jba l/t's, but like the he said earlier the motor mounts also fixed it for me too. I am curious to what it is though, so when you find out let us all know.

if you already have motor mounts, check all your hangers. i had to grind off part of my hangers to make them sit right cause with the entire system, it got pushed back about an inch. this caused the exhaust hangers to vibrate against the frame and it was very loud and annoying. check on that...
