Default 20 inch verde diamonds on a 94 convertible I know everyone hates it but please respond I need help

I posted this in another room but havent gotten any feedback. Can someonre tell me if I can fit 20 inch wheels (not any mustang looking wheels) on my 1994 . I have 18 inch tyfun right now. I'm not into racing, super chargers, turbos or even going fast I just like mustangs they way they look. Every teenage boy in my town has the same typical wheel on there mustang that 5 star chrome whether its a 89-2006 or that other black/grey looking wheel you guys know what i'm talking about. I wanna go a little different, yes the bling bling on the mustang. If you guys can give me plenty of feed back and let me know what tire(s) would fit with that I would appreciate it to the fullest. PLEASE HELP....

Go to a store/website that sells them & ask them to look up your car for fit

Personally I think 20's on a Mustang looks like Rice-a-roni, but it's your car

Well aside from killing the way the car is suppose to look you can fit those size rims on.

There is a white 94/95 Running around here with a set of nasty fucgly 6 spiky spoke 20" rims on. The car is stock and slightly abused, it has over 150k miles on it, he tried to sell it for $12,000 bux because he had rims on it.

I raced his POS (POS in my mind because of what he did to it) more than once and each time leaving him in the dust, I raced him with a 96' V6 mustang that had 15" rims and roughly 15hp more than him (CAI +5hp diff stock between years.)

He was always pissed off like I broke the windows outof his car, but I guess if you aregoing toruin your car its best not to know about it.

The Ford GT has 19" rearrims on it and they are borderline too large, but because of the styling que from Ford they are acceptable and the fact that the fronts are 18" really help in design.I dont like the chrome version though.

I had 18" rims on my truck and I thought they looked great, I checked out the dealerships other stock with 20-22" rims and I thought it looked like crap.... But whatever, some people dont have great tatse!

Bigchris,
go to tirerack and plug a 94 Mustang in the search for 20" wheels. Quite a few will show up, just get the right offset and you'll be okay. 20's are rare on 94-04 stangs, do a search on this site (and others) you'll find pictures. They tend to look too big in ratio to the body of the car and do to clearance issues you'll need something like a 30 series low-profile tire.

NewTokyo,
you put a lot of effort into your post, too bad you didn't even come close to answering the question, but it was interesting to read that the guy with 20's wouldn't waste his time racing your POS V6 stang with 15" wheels.

Roseanne you couldnt be further from the fact when it came to that guy, he was the one always trying to race everything and anything trying to find his place with his slow as car. I just dont think that 20's belong on these cars, its ugly, it slows them down and it takes away modding money.

Ya know Roseanne its funny how you twisted my comment back around on me like I twisted your name but in all wtf does it matter, this is just the internet

I also gave him feedback and mentioned the Ford GT rims, which do fit on the SN95 body, a 19" rear and 18" front would be good.

245/30-20 would be the tire size you'd need (if they make 'em, anyway).

20's will look horrible, IMO. You need some sidewall to really show off the stance and character of a Mustang. You could just go with 27's and forgo tires altogether...[8D]

Please don't go to the bling bling darkside...You're going to kill your suspension, bushings, bearings, looks, tires, vagina intake, etc. oh..you'll need to get a chrome step stool to get in also. I think they make those in platinum now.lol

27's (without tires)or 20's (with tires)will not alter the ride height. You're thinking of those monstrosities as demonstrated during last weekend's Powerblock. Those were 37's with tires.
