I'm noticing my 1994 convertible is retaining water after washing or a rain storm. I've never been able to find the body drains to clear them. I've searched the forum and the only refernce I could find said to remove the speaker panels to gain access to the drains. Is there no easy way to access the drains from the oustide? Do I really have to tear the interior apart? Thanks.

I am not sure about your year of car, but have you looked underneath the car. They may be plugged there, and if so, it will keep you from removing your interior pieces. Just a thought.

Did you find the drains? I'm having similar problem. Water is leaking in from drivers side window well onto rear floor!

I read your post yesterday hoping to find info for the same problem on my 2003. Well I'm happy to tell you that I found the drains! They are external but you have to remove the rocker panel covers to get to them. You have to be careful removing the cover because they are easily cracked especially in cold weather! All you need is a screw driver or better a tool designed to pry up the plastic buttons and the plastic trim in front of the sill plate. If you remove the rocker [plastic] right by the rear wheel you will see the drain.Only one! I drilled a second hole and cleaned out the junk clogging the hole. Tonite I'll find out if it worked 'cause it's gonna rain ALL night! "FEZ"

talking about the small holes in the rear quarter panel windows that get water into the back of the convertable area thing behind the back seat?

I'm not sure what you're refering too. They are under the plastic rocker cover that extends from front wheel to rear. You have to pry the cover [ painted same as car] loose and it is under the cover as well as 3 holes for the attaching clips. masking tape along body edge should help to protect painted surfaces.
