its not. The setup is what matters: Auto/manual, big or little stall, track weight, s/c'd or n/a. I see alot of emphisis rwhp, and many statements like "you cant beat a 450rwhp with your 300 hp car," and that isnt true.
We dyno'd my 306cid .660" solid roller, AFR 185, systemax intake 2 years ago and it put out an amazing 310 rwhp and 295 ft/lb torque (through a 4000 stall). Now while these numbers look pretty weak the car ran 11.70s all day long. My new motor just put down 401rwhp and 414 ft/lb torque through a 4000 stall and I am certain a 10.80-11.20 are in the near future. (what does a 400 rwhp camaro run?)
One more example 450 rwhp through 5000 stall, 3000 lb car went 10.20s on motor.
Who in Houston wants to run?

and your point is? not many people have a drag suspension on their car. Hp isn't everything in drag racing, but thats about where it stops IMO. In drag racing its all about power / wt ratio and suspension & tires.
