I've always raced the 1/4 mile but my 1/8 mile times are 6.46 @ 110.

I have a best of 7.5 but have been runnin 7.7-7.8 lately. The GTO in my sig runs 8.8-8.5 in the 1/8. The GTO is runnin about what most stock LS1's run down here. I think it needs nitrous and a blower.

Indeeed JUG! the 73 was the ugliest car ever called a GTO. I have seen one run in the 11's though... Impressive.

I ran a 10.20 @ 69.4 mph.  It was hot, muggy, and s**tty out.  Im waiting for my next friday off so I can see what she'll do after mods.  Ill let you guys know what I run.  If I had to guess, 8.50's to 8.70's on a cool nite, and drag radials

Will you guys give me an estimate based on mods?

Holley systemax kit (heads, intake, camshaft, 1.6:1 rollers, timing chain, pushrods), 70mm C&L mass air, 70mm throttle body, 30lbs injectors.

Also have (had before I bought kit).  Tremec TKO w/ pro 5.0 shift, centerforce dual friction clutch, ford racing alum drive shaft, and richmond 3.73 gears.  Oh yeah I cant forget the 5 inch autometer tach... They add 20 hp instantly! LOL

8.50 to 8.70?  From a 10.20?  You think you run 13.0-13.5?  I seriously doubt that.  I'm gonna say you'll be down to a 9.3-9.5. at most.

I am gonna have to agree with GSR on this one. To drop that much you are gonna have to do a bit more than gears and roller rockers bro.  Mid 8's are decent for a real street car, you can run with LS1's in stock trim there. Its not easy to get there or cheap if you are runnin in the 10's.

Appreciate your input fellas, I imagine to get into the 8's I should change my pistons, crank, and rods and then 175 shot the thing????  That nitrous still scares me though.  My buddy almost has me talked into it but I'm still not sure.
