4.30 Gears just put on - 11/14/2004 10:20:36 PM    yoshis99_cobra Posts: 269 Joined: 7/21/2004 Status: offline Okay if anyone was wondering about putting on 4.30 gears, I say do it. It is unbelieveable. I would not go lower. This is just some of the testing that I've done thus far. If you have any questions about them, just let me know. 4th Gear @ 3K rpm's is 53mph 5th Gear @ 2K rpm's is 53mph 5th gear @ 3K rpm's is 79mph These gears just kick ass. My second gear is how my first gear was before. Without dumping the clutch, I can rip them in second gear off the line. (That's not using first gear at all) The power is just unbelieveable now. So far best investment I've done. Let me know if you guys want me to run some other tests for ya. Not sure what I want in the front though. That's about it. I'm pretty good at shifting too, I barely ever miss. I still have a few of my bolt on's to put on yet this week. Maybe with those I'll be able to. The throttle body and MAF along with the Densecharger will probably go on tonight. I have to wait to do the pullies. They say something about needing an air gun to take off the one bolt.
