I start off in second gear and rip threw them. But yeah first gear really isn't that bad because I don't need to rev up to 3k rpm anymore. I don't want to have to pay my friend 75 bucks to put them on, especially when I only paid 100 for the pulley's. I'll have to see if my other friend will let me use his garage. He has a lift in his garage along with all the tools necessary to do the work. My 3650 with 3.27's I redline at... 1st... 30mph 2nd... 60mph 3rd... 95mph and 4th im not to sure about. I think I had it going like 130 in fourth. Ha Ha. Those 4.10's should make a huge difference for ya. Are you going to get the speed recalibrated or just use a DiabloSport Tuner? I used my tuner to recalibrate it and it works awesome. I just told it to use 4.30 and that was it after I installed the tune. Well with the gears I have now 1st is all out balls to the wall but it takes second a minute to pick up after the switch. Everyone says 4.10's are baddass in the 99+ GT's. As soon as I get the car back and took of casually in first I was scared. Then I got on it in first while I was racing an 01 cobra and I hit second and the car just went sideways. I can give you the name and number if you want. The guy was real cool. I kept asking him questions about it and he was pretty knowledeable. I would definitely recommend getting a tuner.
