Default To all the People saying ws6=cobra

This is for the WS6/cobra arguement... a lot of people were saying the ws6/camaro ls1 is about equal to the cobra... maybe just a tad slower.

Those arent stock but all the cobra has is exhaust, camaro has exhaust and headers.

That looks real close to me

Who said they were close? Shoot, you guys want proof, I'll race a pullied and chipped cobra TONIGHT and bring back a video(this time it will be better), I'll even ask him to go easy on me since he has his mods and dyno tune.... the WS6 and the Cobra are NOT close, at all...WS6s run MID 13s(13.7-13.4)... Cobras run like 13.2-12.9s... they are no where near each other...

Cobra's run deep into the 12's with the right driver.

WS6's can run very low 13's stock, even break 12's.

I'm being realistic with your average driver.... I'm not saying that we are comparing these cars with race car drivers in them... I'm talking your average joe that buys the car, has been to the track a few times, and decides to go see what he can do...

Right, just to clear things up.... there were a few people saying they were basically a drivers race. Which that is not true.

03 Cobras are no pic-nic to drive, they are difficult to shift. If the 03 Cobra driver was terrible, and the WS6 driver was the ****, then and only then could I see the WS6 winning.

I agree there a good driver can pull all there is out of a car one not so good well <> JD remeber the mercedes we saw at the track ????

here's a portion of the story...just in case some of you are to lazy to read the whole thing...LOL...I know i get like that some times...

No matter. This thing's got such high performance limits you'll never notice a couple cracks in the road. Performance-wise, it is an easy 12-second machine as delivered. We ran 12.67 twice at 110.11 mph into a headwind at Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J. Under the right conditions, it might go 12.5s at 111 or more on stock tires. No Camaro can top that in factory trim and nothing short of a new Z06 will beat it. Top-speed is electronically limited to 155--same as most cars in Germany--but it could go at least 170 without the governor. The Mustang simply doesn't have the aerodynamics for more than 155 without it turning into a white-knuckle ride and SVT didn't want to festoon it with the splitter and wing from the R to make it work at that rate. "A 747 is going about 180 when it takes off. As long as we deliver all the power and driving satisfaction before the limiter kicks in, nobody'll miss it," explained Coletti.
