I have been looking for some deep dish 18 X 10 polished bullits for the rear of my 07 GT. Not silver bullits, not chrome bullits, they must be polished to match the original wheels. Anyone know where I can get them?

Where oh where are those mother-loving paragons of wheel knowlege?  JerJan, I have on order a sparkly new GT which also happens to be black AND is optioned to be shod with the polished bullitts as well.  I've got my fingers crossed that it actually arrives with the correct wheels.  I like the looks of the deep dish wheels so I plan to swap the stock rims out for a set of deep dish wheels.  I have contacted some of the wheel shops popular on this site in an effort to find a 18X10 deep dish polished bullitt for 2005+ Mustangs to no avail.  So I would very much like to know the answer to your question as well.  Where is the elusive polished deep dish bullitt?

And if they don't exist I guess I'll just have to break out the old mithreal chain mail that I've had lying around and have Elrond and the elves fashion me a nice pair of wheels.

Yes, Ytix there is definately much quiet on the Western front concerning this subject. No one in the last 3 months has had any answers. I'll just keep looking. Let me know if you find any, I'll let you know if I do.

Jerjan, I wonder if it is possible to have an acceptable looking home-made deep dish 18X10 polished bullitt.  Is it possible to strip a painted aftermarket wheel and polish the bare aluminum to near-factory shininess?

Yes, that is a viable option. The only issue would probably be the cost. It could get pretty expensive to have the stripping and polishing process done. But I think you are right, it would work. I dunno if I want to invest double or triple the normal price for just two wheels. I only would like to change the rearsto 10" wide. I guess I could invest in four chrome bullets instead of trying to get two 10" wide polished ones.

jerjan,  check out OEM wheels -- they advertise on ebay.  I've gotten a couple of sets of chrome deepdish 17" x 9" wheels from them; been very pleased.  Great pricing. If you don't see the wheels you want on ebay, give them a call, they're loaded with wheels.
